Welcome To Madison Park
Madison Park is a neighborhood located in West Baltimore that spans West Madison Avenue from North to South. The community is bounded by North Avenue (The Historic Northern Boundary of Baltimore City) 2200 Block and runs to the 1700 Block ending at Laurens Street. The home are brick townhomes and row homes constructed between 1800 and 1915A.D.

A Snapshot
Madison Park is a diverse community that is home to singles, couples, children, parents and seniors of vairied ethnicities, faiths, cultures and lifestyles. The neigborhood is equally devided among renters and homeowners in a singhle family, duplex, multi- family apartments and condo dwellings. The homes are bordered by Tiffany Alley (West) and ----- Alley (East).  The community boasts many homes that have been renovated and restored to reflect their historic past.  The entire community is governed by the Baltimore City ____CHAP Regulation, which guides design and improvement standards for construuction, painting

Transportation Options Abound
Residents of Madison Park have access to a range of transportatoion options within a few blocks walk or ride. The community is served by the Metro Bus System with stops for Routes #91,#5,or#13 with desitnations North, East/West and Downtown.  Within a few blocks are Light Rail and Subway Stations connecting to the city's broader mass tranit grid and Baltimore's Amtrak Penn Station minutes form Madison Park.  Those neighbors that drive have ready access to I-83 and MD-295/395 and I-95. However, an increasing number are Madiosn Park Residents are "Going Green" and wlaking or biking to work, shopping or for recreation.


Institutional and Educational Presence
This residential community is anchored by four religious institutions serving congregants throughout the Baltimore region. Payne Memorial African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church (1714 Madison), located at the southern end of Madison Park, completed construction of it Worship Center in 199_ and later purchased and renovated the former ___ Apartments for use as a senior daycare and career center. The four story building now the Neihamiah  .  Berea Seventh-Day Adventist Church (1901 Madison) is at the community's "plaza" and is housed in a nationally registered historic property that once served as the Baltimore Hebrew Congregation Synagogue (1875-1950 A.D.) and now is a pillar in the regional Seventh-Day Adventist community. Berea is a frequent stop on tours of the Baltimore City's most significant architectural landmarks. The Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church (2110 Madison) is a center of activity in the neighborhood and has played a major role in community and economic development in the area. The church developed and now operates a --- unit Senior Housing Complex and a Family Development Center that offers daycare, adult education, job skills training and placement. The Saint Martin's Church of Christ (2118 Madison) represents the northern most boundary of Madison Park and has established itself through dynamic youth and community outreach ministries that extend beyond our boundaries to the neighboring communities of Bolton Hill, Druid Heights and Reservoir Hill.
